I have decided to replace my server hardware with my “old” desktop. It’s a 1.4Ghz P4 so it’s pretty fast. I just ordered some additional RAM so that should be fine. I will move my existing hard drives from the old server because the RAID card I use there is still good.

When I do switch I think I’m going to switch my email server software at the same time. I think I’m going to go with a package called Mail Enable. It’s fast, easy to maintain, and inexpensive.

I’m also probably going to move MT to MySQL. This should give me greater flexibilty for customization and it looks to be the future of MT.
